We’re a family-run training company in Tigard. We only take a limited number of dogs each month so every dog actually gets the attention they need. Your dog lives in our home with us — not in a kennel — and trains in real places: neighborhoods, parks, stores, and everyday life.
We don’t do cookie-cutter programs. We look at the dog in front of us, figure out what’s really going on, and build reliable obedience that holds up outside of training sessions.

2-Week Board & Train
$3200
For dogs that pull, get distracted easily, or have mild reactivity. Your dog lives in our home with our family — not in a kennel — and trains in real places like parks, stores, and neighborhoods.
We build reliable recall, sit, down, place, loose leash walking, door manners, car manners, and calm socialization. You’ll get daily photo and video updates, and we end with a full turnover so you know exactly how to keep the results.
This program includes a lifetime warranty with weekly refreshers as needed.
1-Week Board & Train
$2000
Best for dogs that need a strong foundation but don’t require a full two-week program. Your dog lives in our home with our family and trains in real places.
We focus on reliable recall, sit, down, place, loose leash walking, and calm behavior around everyday distractions. You’ll get daily updates and a full turnover at the end so you know exactly how to keep the results.
Includes lifetime warranty with weekly refreshers as needed.
3-Week Ultimate Board & Train
$4,200
Our most complete program for dogs that need extra time to fully lock in obedience and real-world manners. Your dog lives in our home with our family and trains in parks, stores, neighborhoods, and everyday life.
Over three weeks we build reliable recall, sit, down, place, heel, door and car manners, calm greetings, and stronger off-leash control when appropriate. You’ll receive daily updates and an extended turnover so you know exactly how to keep the results long-term.
Includes lifetime warranty with weekly refreshers as needed.
3-Week Reactive Board & Train
$4500
For dogs with significant reactivity or aggression toward people or other dogs. A free in-person evaluation is required before starting. Training is done carefully and may include a muzzle when needed for safety.
Your dog lives in our home with our family while we build structure, impulse control, and clearer communication. We work on recall, sit, down, place, loose leash walking, door and car manners, and controlled exposure to real-world situations.
We do not promise that reactivity will completely disappear. Our goal is to make the behavior more manageable and give you the confidence and tools to handle it. As long as you follow the program, we continue supporting you afterward.
Service Dog Training
Starting at $2,500 per week (3-week minimum)
Custom training for dogs preparing to assist with daily tasks and public access. We start with solid obedience, then build the specific skills your dog needs to support you reliably in real-world environments.
Your dog lives in our home with our family throughout the program. Training includes public manners, task work tailored to your needs, and consistent structure. You’ll receive daily updates and a full turnover so you know how to continue the progress at home.
This program is built for reliability and real-life usefulness — not just basic obedience.
Therapy Dog Training
Starting at $2,500 per week (3-week minimum)
For dogs preparing to provide calm, reliable emotional support in therapeutic or public settings. We build strong obedience, steady manners, and the ability to stay composed around people, noise, and new environments.
Your dog lives in our home with our family throughout the program. Training focuses on real-world readiness so your dog can be a steady, trustworthy presence. You’ll receive daily updates and a full turnover so you know how to maintain the results.
Private Lessons
4-Lesson Package: $1,200
8-Lesson Package: $1,500
One-on-one training focused on the specific behaviors you want to improve. Lessons take place at your home and in real-world locations. Each package includes a free e-collar and long lead.
We start by setting clear goals, then teach the commands and skills your dog needs while coaching you the whole way. Ideal for owners who want to be hands-on and build a stronger relationship with their dog.
Puppy Lessons
$150 per lesson
Designed for puppies under 6 months. 60-minute sessions at your home using treats and a Gentle Leader. A long lead is included.
We focus on basic commands, confidence building, and good habits from the start. These lessons create a strong foundation and can transition into our full training programs once your puppy is ready.

Brittney has over 15 years of hands-on experience training dogs of all breeds and temperaments. She started Happy Paws because she believes every dog deserves clear communication, structure, and a chance to succeed.
She focuses on real results — not just temporary compliance — and takes the time to understand each dog’s individual needs. Her goal is simple: help dogs become more reliable and help owners feel confident again.
